How it works

From connecting a social account to a published video — the full path content takes through postiz.sinaleev.

1. The client connects an account

  1. In the workspace the client (or the studio editor working with them) opens Add channel and picks the platform: TikTok, Instagram, VK, Telegram or Threads.
  2. The platform's own authorisation screen opens — TikTok's Login Kit, Meta's OAuth dialog, VK ID. Login and password are entered on the platform's site, never in postiz.sinaleev.
  3. The platform returns an access token limited to the permissions shown on that screen. The token is stored on our server and used only for publishing.

A connected account can be removed at any moment — with the Disconnect button in the workspace, or by revoking access in the platform's own settings.

2. Content is prepared and scheduled

  1. The editor uploads the video or image, writes the caption, and picks the accounts it should go to.
  2. For each platform the platform-specific fields are filled in: for TikTok that is the privacy level of the video, comment, duet and stitch settings, and the commercial-content disclosure when the video is an ad or a branded post.
  3. The post is placed on the calendar at a chosen date and time, or saved as a draft for the client to approve first.

3. The service publishes at the scheduled time

  1. A worker picks up the post at its publication time and sends the media to the platform through its official publishing API — for TikTok, the Content Posting API.
  2. The platform processes the upload and returns the result. Success is recorded together with the link to the published post; a failure is recorded with the platform's error so the editor can fix and retry.
  3. Nothing is ever published that was not explicitly scheduled by a person in the workspace.

4. Results stay visible

Every scheduled item keeps its state — draft, queued, published, or failed — with the time it went out and the link to the post on the platform. This history is what the studio and the client use to check that a plan was actually delivered.
